MANPOWER AND RECRUITMENT INSTITUTION INFORMATION Manpower agencies, staffing companies, recruitment institutions, employment agencies, and similar organizations may use Service Deel to search for workers, publish opportunities, manage candidates, or provide recruitment-related services. JOB SEEKER PROFILE VISIBILITY Job Seekers should understand that information included in their professional profiles may be visible to Employers, recruiters, manpower institutions, Service Providers, or other authorized users depending on the privacy and visibility settings provided by Service Deel. Profile information intended for recruitment may include a user's name, photograph, skills, qualifications, work experience, education, location, availability, portfolio, and other employment-related information. Where profile privacy controls are available, Job Seekers should review their settings carefully. 16. EMPLOYER AND RECRUITER ACCESS TO INFORMATION When a Job Seeker applies for a job or chooses to make a profile available for recruitment, relevant information may be shared with the Employer, recruiter, manpower institution, or organization associated with that opportunity. Recipients may use this information for legitimate recruitment, hiring, candidate evaluation, workforce management, or related purposes. Employers and recruitment organizations must not use Job Seeker information for unrelated marketing, unauthorized data collection, resale of personal information, harassment, discrimination prohibited by law, identity theft, fraud, or other unlawful purposes. 17. RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYERS AND MANPOWER INSTITUTIONS Employers, manpower agencies, recruitment institutions, staffing companies, and recruiters that obtain personal information through Service Deel are responsible for handling that information lawfully. They must: • Use candidate information only for legitimate employment, recruitment, manpower, or related purposes; • Protect candidate information against unauthorized access; • Avoid collecting unnecessary personal information; • Comply with applicable privacy, employment, recruitment, and data-protection laws; • Avoid selling or improperly disclosing candidate information; • Delete or securely dispose of information when no longer lawfully required; and • Respect applicable rights of candidates regarding their personal information. Organizations may have their own independent privacy obligations in addition to this Privacy Policy. 18. WHEN WE MAY SHARE INFORMATION Service Deel does not sell personal information simply because a user creates an account.
